Summary. The peculiarities of growth and yield formation of spring triticale were studied in 3 years tests (2012-2014) of the five varieties of this culture (Grebeshok, Karmen, Rovnya, Ukro, Yarilo) on the state variety test plots (SVTP) in the main agricultural zones of Amur region (Tambovka SVTP – south zone, Svobodny SVTP – central zone, Mazanovsky SVTP – north zone). During all years of the experiment spring wheat Aryuna and spring barley Acha were used as the standards. On the average during three years varieties Rovnya and Karmen distinguished on the yield level on Tambovka SVTP with yield 37.5 and 35.8 cwt/ha, correspondingly (wheat Aryuna – 28.0 cwt/ha, barley Acha – 30.1 cwt/ha); on Svobodny and Mazanovsky state variety test plots variety Rovnya had the highest yield, 23.9 and 28.1 cwt/ha (wheat Aryuna – 20.0 and 26.9 cwt/ha, barley Acha – 18.8 and 27.6 cwt/ha respectively). The vegetation period of spring triticale on all SVTPs was at the level of it for wheat (73…85 days) and was 3…15 days longer than that for barley. The maximum weight of 1000 grains on Tambovka SVTP was shown by Yarilo variety – 47.5 g that was higher by 8.5 g and 1.9 g in comparison with wheat and barley correspondingly; on Svobodny and Mazanovsky state variety test plots – by Rovnya variety (36.7 and 39.9 g respectively). According to the results of the experiments the conclusions were drawn about the high productivity of spring triticale under conditions of Amur region in comparison with spring wheat and spring barley and possibility of its cultivation to increase the total grain yield in the region.

Keywords: triticale, wheat, barley, crop yield, state variety test plot.
