Summary. The results of researches of the influence of biofertilizer Azofobacterin-AF on yield, quality and content of the main macronutrient elements in the root of beet depending on techniques and methods of it use are presented in the article. The study was carried out in 2013-2014 under conditions of vegetative experiment on the light gray forest light loamy soil. The complex use of the biofertilizer on the soil with increased and high content of mobile phosphorus and potassium provides a significant increase in the yield of beet by 55…86 %. The application of the biofertilizer against the background N0.4P0.4K0.4 does not provide a significant yield increase. The combination of application of the biofertilizer in the soil with pre-seed treatment contributed to the growth of sugar content in beet roots by 0.8...1.7 % against the fertilized background and by 2.1 % against the background without fertilizers; and raised also the yield of sugar by 1.2...2.3 g/pot. Complex use of Azofobacterin-AF with mineral fertilizers made it possible to reduce the concentration of nitrates in the production 2 times (up to 604…685 mg/kg), with increase in the content of phosphorus and potassium in roots by 0.08 and 0.44 %, respectively. Introduction of biofertilizer in soil against the background of NPK contributed to the growth of nitrogen content in beet roots by 0.10 %. In general, the complex use of Azofobacterin ensures high yields of quality products.
