Summary. The efficiency of organic and mineral fertilizer application as well as their combinations for fertility and productivity of sod-podzol light loamy soil under conditions of Komi Republic was studied in field stationary test during the period from 1978 to 2013. Under the influence of long term fertilizer application the content of humus (by 0.3…0.5 %) and mobile forms of phosphorus and potassium (by 12…137 and 5…38 mg/kg of soil) increased, exchange (by 0.3…0.4 units) and hydrolytic acidity (by 0.5…1.5 mg-eq/100 g of soil) decreased. With application of mineral fertilizers only the decrease in the content of humus (by 0.2…0.3 %) and the increase in soil acidity (by 0.7…0.9 units) was observed, that had an adverse effect on the productivity of cultures in fodder crop rotation, which value reduced on 1.5…3 t/ha of dry matter. The highest crops productivity was achieved while complex using of peat-manure compost in the dose of 80 t/ha and NPK in the full dose: annual herbs – 4.8; perennial herbs – 6.1 and potato – 6.6 t/ha of dry matter. In other variants of the experiment this indicator was 3.0…4.5; 4.1…5.8 and 4.8…6.5 t/ha (the control was 2.5; 3.3 and 4.6 t/ha) accordingly. Combined application of fertilizers increased quality of the production. With the application of mineral fertilizers only the negative balance of humus content in the soil was noted, -0.64…-0.71 t/ha. In the case of organic fertilizers it was 0.12…0.50 t/ha. With complex application of fertilizers the balance was positive also, 0.04…1.21 t/ha. In the variants with three doses of NPK (N13P11K39, N20P16K58, N40P32K116) the lowest cost of crop products, 5.6…6.1 rub/t, and the highest economic return, 3.32…4.86 rub/rub was defined (in other variants it was 2.26…2.9 rub).

Keywords: soil, humus, organic, mineral fertilizers, cost, economic return.
