Summary. Researches were carried out to study the influence of humic preparations derived from brown (KBR) and naturally oxidized (soot) brown (KBS) coal on agrobiological indices of bare-grained oats variety Taydon. The scheme of the experiment included the treatment of seeds as well as seed material and vegetating plants with potassium humate (HumNa) and sodium humate (HumK) derived from KBR and KBS. The control was without treatment with humates. The following doses were applied for seeds treatment: sodium humate from brown coal – 5.89 ml/l, potassium humate from brown coal – 5.72 ml/l, sodium humate from soot brown coal – 1.03 ml/l, potassium humate from soot brown coal – 1.02 ml/l (0.02 % of the basic concentration). The crop was sprayed with 0.01 % solution of humates in tillering stage. The concentration of phosphorus in plants in tillering stage (r = 0.368), potassium – in the stage of stalk shooting (r = 0.908), and nitrogen – at all stages of growth and development of the crop has the highest value for the formation of yield. The increase in potassium concentration in plants by 3.2…13.9 % caused by leaf application of fertilizer contributed to growth of yield at 0.6…17.9 %. The crop yield in variant with presowing seed treatment by humic preparations exceeded the control by 1.9…15.4 %. The highest efficiency of humate usage was obtained in variants with presowing treatment of seeds in combination with spraying by potassium humate derived from brown oxidized coal (HumK KBR) and by sodium humate derived from brown soot coal (HumNa KBS). The increase in grain weight per plant in comparison with control was 19.1…21.3 %, in the number of productive stems – 0.9…11.9 %, in the number of grains per one panicle – 9.6…14.8 %, correspondingly. The correlation between productivity and grain content in a panicle (r = 0.375…0.844) and productivity and grain weight per plant (r = 0.399…0.694) was revealed.

Keywords: naked oats, humic preparation, treatment of seeds, outside root application of fertilizer, survival rate, productivity.
