ENERGY SAVING IN THE AGRICULTURAL SECTOR OF KEMEROVO REGION: STATE ANALYSIS AND PROSPECTS FOR THE DEVELOPMENT

Summary. The need for the research is caused by the search for alternative fuels for the rational consumption of energy resources and consequently cost saving of agriculture production, the economic activities of enterprises in which should be aimed at the implementation of technical, technological and organizational measures. The purpose of the work was to analyze the energy consumption by the agricultural industry in Kemerovo region and to evaluate the efficacy of the use of alternative sources of fuel and energy resources in the context of energy saving. The need for the energy resources in different branches of agriculture varies considerably, thus in crop production the main energy costs are formed by greases, in animal breeding - by electricity; therefore we analyzed the economy and energy efficiency of natural gas usage in a compressed and condensed form as the motor fuel, as well as a source of heat and electrical energy. From the point of view of the use of gas fuel in agriculture the retrofitting of diesel engine with a gas supply system for work on gas and diesel cycle is the most efficient; in this case it is possible to highlight the following advantages: no need to make changes in engine and fuel equipment; it is always possible to return to the diesel use. In this case the saving diesel fuel will be 75…80 %, the exhaust opacity will reduce 2…4 times, and the total cruising range of the vehicle will increase 1.5…1.7 times. Due to the climatic conditions of the region 30…40 % of the energy resources consumed in agriculture are expended on accommodation heating. The use of autonomous generation of electricity and heat energy with a gas generator will allow to reduce the price of electricity 5…6 times, to provide an uninterrupted supply of energy, to reduce the production of harmful emissions, since natural gas burns without the remainder.
