BREEDING ACHIEVEMENT IN TRITICALE IN SCIENTIFIC CENTERS OF RUSSIA AND NEAR ABROAD COUNTRIES

Summary. The main results of breeding work on winter and spring triticale of scientists from Russia, Ukraine, Belarus and Kazakhstan are generalized. The most successful breeding programs were worked out in several institutes. In the Don Agricultural Research Institute were developed zoned and promising varieties Diamond, Topaz, Vocalise, Consul, Tribune, Legion, Zymogor, Cornet, Don, Bard, Centaur, Tornado, Ramesses, Ramsay with grain productivity 8.0…11.5 t/ha and green mass yield 80…90 t/ha. In the Krasnodar Agricultural Research Institute were created varieties Prince, Brother, Patrol, Valentine 90, Makar, Centurion, Leader, Breakthrough, Sage, Avant-guard, Yarilo, Kunak, Svat, Reaper, Bogdo, Hot, Khleborob with realized productivity for winter varieties 7.0…10.0 t/ha, for spring ones – 6.5…7.5 t/ha. In the Voronezh Agricultural Research Institute were developed varieties Talva 100, Privada, Rondo, Doctrine 110, Ukro, Gorka with productivity 5.5…10.0 t/ha. In the Moscow Research Institute for Agriculture "Nemchinovka" were developed varieties Victor, Hermes, Antaeus, Nemchinovsky 56, Nina with grain productivity 6.0…9.0 t/ha. In the Stavropol Agricultural Research Institute were created varieties Granik, Blagodarny, Ergeni, Zernetko, Mamuchar, Gussar, Imprint, which make it possible you obtain the grain yield 6.0…9.0 t/ha and green mass yield 34…39 t/ha. Kharkov Рlant Production Institute nd. a. V.Ya. Yuryev (Ukraine) made a significant contribution to the formation of culture of triticale in the former USSR. The most famous of the created varieties are Amphidiploid 206, AD 3/5, AD-52, AD-256, Garne, Ratne, Rarity, Harroza, Amos, Markian, Kharkov Stork, Kharkov Lark, Kharkov Khlebodar, Kharkov Nightingale, Kharkov Korovaj, Kharkov Legen and others, which are characterized by high potential yield of grain (to 8.0…10.0 t/ha) and green mass (45…53 t/ha). Incredible successes in breeding were reached in RUE "Scientific and Practical Center of NAS of Belarus on agriculture". For the period of 1974-2014 scientists from this institute developed more than 25 varieties of winter and spring triticale, the grain yield of which reached 10.0…11.7 t/ha in State Variety Test. Winter triticale varieties from Kazakhstan Institute of Agriculture and Plant Production Taza, Balausa 8, Aziada, Kozha are cultivated on fields on the south-east of the republic of Kazakhstan with grain yield in production from 5.0 to 8.2 t/ha.
