Summary. The aim of the investigation was to study the diagnostic value of the reaction of indirect hemagglutination (RIHA) and of lamellar agglutination (RLA) with milk in testing of 8542 milk samples from cows from farms with different epizootic situation on brucellosis. The examination of 196 animals with diseases of mammary gland in clinical and subclinical forms identified that RIHA with milk and RLA were specific reactions, which secure negative results. The investigation of milk from 69 pregnant cows presented the possibility of RIHA usage in diagnostics, whereas it is inexpedient to use RLA with milk due to appearance of false-positive reactions (18.2 %). In the examination of milk from 1600 cows not vaccinated with anti-brucellosis vaccines from clear of brucellosis farms there were negative exponents of RIHA in titer 1:50 and RLA, which indicates the specificity of the tests. The investigation of milk from 2876 cows from clear of brucellosis farms and 4378 cows from problem farms presented the availability of application of RIHA and RLA with milk during the control of epizootic situation on brucellosis and sanitation of problem farms in 1 month and subsequent periods after immunization of cattle with vaccine from strain B. abortus 82. In clear farms in cows, immunized with vaccine from strain B. abortus 82, there were obtained negative results of RIHA and RLA with milk in all terms of studies, including early dates – 1…2 months after vaccination. RIHA with milk had higher diagnostic sensitivity in problem herds, 95.9 % reacting cows of the total population of animals with positive results of tests with milk (121), in Ring test and RLA with milk this value is 79.3 % and 69.4 %, respectively. In spite of the lower sensitivity of RLA this test identified cows sick of brucellosis in all five problem farms.
