Summary. The indices of Rose-Bengal Test (RBT) with rating of three crosses were determined in 14 head only (0.1 %) during the inspection of cattle from the free farms for brucellosis. The cattle were immunized with a vaccine from strain B. abortus 82. The negative indicators of immunodiffusion test (IDT), the lack of positively reacting animals in high titers of agglutination test (AT), complement fixation test (CFT), indirect hemagglutination reaction (IHR), the presence of S-brucellosis compliment-binding antibodies in the serum of 100.0 % of cows with low titers were the evidences of the well-being of farms for brucellosis. In 2, 3, 4, 5 months after vaccination RBT with rating of three crosses was not registered. Through the all problem farms the indices of RBT with rating of the three crosses were noted at 42.9 % of the total number of reacted animals. The highest sensitivity in the diagnosis of brucellosis was noted for IHR – 70.5 % reactive animals, the next was RBT with rating of three crosses – 52.4 %. The reliability of RBT was confirmed by the coincidence of its indicators with complex RA+CFT+IHR in high titers and IDT. The significant differences in the qualitative expression of RBT in healthy animals immunized with vaccine from strain 82 and ill animals make it possible to use it as a differentiating test during the control of the epizootic situation of brucellosis and sanitary activity in 2 months and subsequent periods after immunization.

Keywords: Rose-Bengal test, express tests, brucellosis, strain B. abortus 82.
