CONVERSION STANDARDS OF FLAX STOCK OF NEW FLAX VARIETIES IN FIBER AND EFFICIENCY OF THEIR APPLICATION

Summary. The article presents results of investigation on development of conversion standards of flax stock of modern fiber-flax varieties in fiber. These results reflect with the adequate accuracy the volume of produced fiber in agriculture, as well as volume and quality of raw material stored by flax mills. The use of standards of conversion in business activity of enterprises promotes rational use of flax raw materials and determination of the sizes of grants of various levels, adequate to the obtained yield. The timely information on potential possibilities of a variety with relation to the production of certain quantity of fiber depending on the initial quality flax stock will promote distribution of the most promising varieties of flax. It is presented the conversion standards for flax stock of various quality of 22 varieties of fiber-flax of domestic and foreign breeding and variety of oil flax LM-98. To produce 1 t of fiber from low-grade flax stock (below number 1.00) it is required from 2.9 to 4.1 t of flax stock; for high-grade flax stock (number 1.00 and higher) this value is from 2.6 to 3.4 t. It is proved the necessity to take into account the structure of fiber, containing in stalks of fiber-flax of one or another variety, for more accurate (up to 20%) determination of its cost. As the fiber yield of varieties considerably differs (by 2.8-6.2%), it is substantiated the expediency of development of differentiated conversion system for high-grade flax stock with the number 1.00 and more. Such system will serve as an additional stimulus for production of fibrous flax raw material with high quality.
