Summary. In order to assess the influence of fertilizers and microbiological preparation on yield and quality of white lupine produce the experiment was carried out on the vegetation area of the department of agro-chemistry and agro-ecology of State agricultural Academy of Nizhny Novgorod. The test was carried out in 2013-2014 by the microfield trial in four replications. The soil is light gray forest loamy one with humus content 1.25-1.3%, available phosphorus and potassium–79-119 and 126-132 mg/kg, respectively, exchangeable soil acidity is 5.1-5.2, base saturation is 83-84%. The materials for the research were three varieties of white lupine (Gamma, Dega, Deter-1) and standard variety Manovitsky; mineral fertilizers in a dose of N20R52K52; microbial preparation rhizotorfin (Rhizobium lupine). Against the background of mineral fertilizers studied varieties formed a high yield of grain (25-47% higher than the standard). Seed treatment by the biological preparation resulted in increased grain yield of varieties Dega and Deter-1 up to 11 and 19%, respectively. Variety Dega also had increased fraction of grain in total dry above-ground phytomass (from 44 to 46%). The highest protein content in grain was observed in variety Dega (40.25%) when it was grown against the background of NPK without rhizotorfin. The positive impact of rhizotorfin on protein content in grain was observed in variety Gamma (from 38.69 to 39.13%). Inoculation of seeds by the biological preparation enhanced the yield of protein per a unit of area for varieties Deter-1 (by 20.4%) and Dega (by 8.4%). The minimum cellulose content was observed in grain of varieties Dega and Gamma at their cultivation against the background of NPK; the inoculation of seeds by the preparation contributed to the increase in cellulose content in grains (with the exception of standard variety). Lupine grain is highly provided with nitrogen and phosphorus. Seed treatment with the biological preparation reduced the uptake of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium, most notably, on varieties Manovitsky and Gamma (by 19-27% for nitrogen, 10-23% for phosphorus and 17-26% for potassium).

Keywords: white lupine, mineral fertilizers, microbiological preparation, yield, crude and digestible protein, cellulose, fat, main nutrients.
