Summary. The influence of long application of organic, organic-mineral and mineral fertilizers on productivity of crops and fertility of ordinary chernozem in cereal-fallow-row (with alfalfa and without it) crop rotations was studied in 1985-2015. The test was carried out on the fields of the Don Zonal Research Institute of Agriculture (Rostov region) under conditions of the stationary experiment. The study was carried out against the background of three variants of fertilizers (the fourth is the control without fertilizers) in three rotations of the crop rotations. Fertilizer doses depended on the crop, preceding crop and the variant. The station was deployed in time. The replication is triple with annual laying in space. The order of fields and variants was random. The use of arable land without fertilizers during three rotations of 10-field cereal-fallow-row crop rotation caused the decrease in humus content by 0.1%. The maintenance of soil fertility and formation of more than 6 t/ha of winter wheat grain after bare fallow and 5 t/ha after non-fallow preceding crops and 3.8 t/ha of spring barley grain is possible with application of 6 t/ha of manure and N44P30K24 per 1 ha of cereal-fallow-row crop rotation without alfalfa and 4 t/ha of manure and N27P31K27 in the crop rotation with alfalfa. The maintenance and improvement of humic state of ordinary chernozem in the crop rotation with alfalfa is possible at a lower level of fertilizer application, than without this crop.
