Summary. The article presents the results of studies on the influence of crop rotation, methods of tillage and different doses of fertilizers on pea yield under conditions of the Azov zone of Rostov region. The investigations were carried out from 2005 to 2015 in multifactor stationary experiments of the Don Zonal Research Institute of Agriculture in time and space in grain-fallow-row crop rotation, as well as in grain-grass one. The analysis suggests that fertilizer application in any of the studied doses significantly increases pea yield. According to the results of the study it was found that to obtain stable yields of peas it should be preferably sown in grain-fallow-row ten-field crop rotation after spring barley. It is proved that the method of primary tillage has no significant effect on the yield of the studied crop. The article shows that the introduction of nitrogen fertilizers at the dose of 30 kg/ha, potassium – at 30 kg/ha, phosphorus with potassium fertilizers in the amount of 30 kg/ha for the pea has about the same effect. During the cultivation of pea with moldboard plowing one should apply phosphorus preparation at the dose of 40 kg/ha. In the case of primary treatment without soil overturning it is required to use complex fertilizers in the dose of N30P40K30. There was a statistically significant increase of yield from fertilizer applied under the preceding crop of pea. The greatest payback of 1 kg of fertilizer was observed at introduction of phosphate fertilizer in the dose of 40 kg/ha and with plowing on depth of 20-22 cm; it was 13.1 kg/kg.

Keywords: yield, pea, yield increase, fertilizer doses.
