TECHNOLOGICAL METHODS OF FORMATION OF FODDER GALEGA PRODUCTIVITY

Summary. In long experiments of the laboratory of feed production of the V.V. Dokuchaev Research Institute of Agriculture of the Central Chernozem Zone on the ordinary chernozem the investigations were carried out on the study of influence of the main factors and technology elements on productivity and feed value of fodder galega. The highest productivity of green mass of the fodder crop was formed with wide-row and row methods of sowing with the seeding rate of 4 to 5 millions of germinating seeds per 1 hectare with application of mineral fertilizer, the lowest one – when it was sown under cover of barley for grain and with the seeding rate of 1 million of germinating seeds per 1 hectare. The maximum harvest of dry substance, feed units, digestible protein, metabolizable energy was observed at wide-row sowing and the seeding rate of 4 millions of germinating seeds per 1 ha. In this case, it was registered the best indicators of provision of a fodder unit with digestible protein. On chernozem, removed from long-term irrigation, high efficiency was obtained by the application of defecation residues. Calcium-containing ameliorant, either individually or together with mineral fertilizers, improves the yield and quality of green mass of galega. Application of defecation residues both in pure form and together with mineral fertilizers increases the productivity of three-year fodder galega by 17-49%. The greatest output of metabolizable energy (99.1 GJ/ha) was registered at application of mineral fertilizers in the dose of N60P60K60 dose against the aftereffect of calcium ameliorant.
