Summary. The investigations were carried out to study the influence of forecrops, mineral fertilizers, sowing dates and rates on productivity of winter wheat. The test was performed in 2013-2015 in the zone of unstable moistening of Stavropol Krai on the test field of FGBNU Stavropol Research Institute of Agriculture (Mikhajlovsk). The objects of the research were winter wheat varieties Odisseya, Olimp, Victoriya 11, Niva Stavropoliya, Firuza 40 and Nastya. The response of the varieties to the elements of cultivation technology was different both in magnitude and direction. It is necessary to take into account the following agrotechnical peculiarities during the cultivation of listed varieties. Odisseya is characterized by low requirements to the forecrop and the level of mineral nutrition; it forms the highest yield at optimum sowing date and rates; it is mid-ripening variety. Olimp is characterized by medium demands to the forecrop and high ones to the level of mineral nutrition; it develops better at the optimal seeding time and rates; it matures earlier than Odisseya by 3 days. Victoriya 11 is demanding to the forecrop, has moderate responsiveness to the use of mineral fertilizers; late sowing dates are possible; it is tolerant to seeding rates; it is mid-ripening variety. Niva Stavropoliya has medium requirements to the forecrop and mineral fertilizers; it is tolerant to seeding rates; the highest yields are formed with the higher sowing rate; it is mid-ripening variety. Nastya has low requirements to the forecrop and the level of mineral nutrition; late sowing dates are possible; the yield does not reduced with low seeding rates (4 millions of seeds per a hectare); it is middle-late cultivar. Firuza 40 has medium responsiveness to forecrops and application of mineral fertilizers; it is for optimal sowing time; the maximum yield is formed at higher seeding rates; it is mid-ripening variety.
