Summary. The purpose of the stationary experiment of Krasnoufimsk breeding centre in 2005-2014 was to determine the dependence of productivity of spring barley on its constituent elements under different weather conditions. The six most common in Sverdlovsk region varieties of spring barley: Veresk, Sonet, Ekolog, Acha, Binom, Bagrets were used as the material. The calculation of elasticity coefficients and multiple regression equations of the dependence of biological yield from its elements were carried out. They not only present the correlation between productivity and quantity characteristics, but also allow to predict the character of changes in the yield for a particular variety. When you change the number of productive stems by 1.00%, the deviation of the yields of the varieties Veresk and Sonet will be 0.99 per cent, at the same time for Binom, Acha, Bagrets and Ekolog e(Х1) will be 1.03-1.12, this suggests that this group of varieties is more susceptible to change of yields depending on productive stem density. On the variable Х2 (the mass of 1000 grains) the coefficient of elasticity е(Х2) is 0.46-0.92, and it varies to a greater extent depending on the variety: varieties Acha and Ekolog are less stable in productivity depending on changes of weight of 1000 grains (е(Х2) is 0.82-0.92), in contrast to the varieties Sonet and Binom (е(Х2) is 0.46-0.59). For variable X3 (number of grains per spike) varieties Acha and Ekolog are also less stable (е(Х3) is 0.87-0.94) than varieties Sonet and Binom (е(Х3) is 0.62-0.71). It was determined the relationship between the index of ratio of thousand grain weight to the average ear grain content and ecological plasticity and stability of the varieties. The dependence between this index and ecological plasticity is curvilinear, i.e. the varieties are less plastic with the average values of the index 2.4-2.5, and with its reduction or growth the plasticity increases. For the stability, on the contrary, the varieties are the most stable with the average values of the index (2.4-2.5) and they are less stable in other ranges.
