Summary. In order to develop dessert large-fruited honeysuckle cultivars the large-fruited varieties of breeding of FGUP “Bakcharskoe” were included in crossings as paternal plants in 2003-2011 in M.A. Lisavenko Research Institute of Horticulture of Siberia. As a result, 980 seedlings were obtained, which were planted in a breeding garden in 2007-2009. Seedlings, beginning to produce berries, were supervised from 2010 to 2014. Breeding plots are located in the suburbs of Barnaul, in the central part of the steppe with kolkis of Altai Krai on the left high bank of the Ob. The soil is leached chernozem. The plots are not irrigated. When using in hybridization the cultivars Pamyati Gidzyuka, Narymskaya, Gordost' Bakchara, obtained from intraspecific crossings of honeysuckle Turchaninov (Lonicera turcsaninowii Pojark.) of the second and the third generation, the setting capacity of berries was high (45.2-94.3%). With pollination by cultivars Bakcharskii Velikan, Bakcharskaya Yubileinaya, Yugana, which were developed from interspecific crossings of Lonicera kamchatskaya Pojark. and Lonicera Turczaninowii Pojark. of the third and fourth generation, the setting capacity of berries was low – 3.6-29.8%. The pollen fertility of the cultivar Bakcharskii velikan was 74.8-76.0%, Narymskaya – 86.9-88.6%, Pamyati Gidzyuka – 62.0%. Pollen grains are large, uniform. Bakchar varieties pass their large fruitfulness to posterity. Most large-fruited and yielding seedlings were selected in the family Assol' x Gordost' Bakchara – 20% of the total quantity, of which 9 hybrids are selected as elite. The largest hybrid has berries with an average mass of 1.9 g, maximum – 2.9 g.

Keywords: sweet-berry honeysuckle, crossing, pollen fertility, hybrid posterity, selective forms, large fruitfulness.
