Summary. The study was carried out in 2009-2014 at the premises of ZAO OPKh “Tsentral'noe” of the North-Caucasian Zonal Research Institute of Horticulture and Viticulture (NCZRIHV, Krasnodar) under conditions of the Kuban fruit-growing zone of Krasnodar Krai. The purpose of the study was to select pear varieties resistant to abiotic and biotic environmental factors. Thirty pear varieties of Russian and foreign breeding were the objects of the research. The garden was planted in the spring of 2007; the scheme of planting is 5 х 3 m. The soil on the experimental plot is leached chernozem. Some domestic pear varieties (NCZRIHV is an originator) with high flower resistance to the spring frost: Zolushka, Krasnodarskaya Letnyaya, Lyuberskaya, Kubanskaya Sochnaya, Koketka, Shikhan, as well as introduced ones: Abbe Fetel, Krasnokutskaya Osenyaya, Osnovyanskaya was selected. Against the background of insufficient moistening the pear varieties, which are more resistant to drought, were selected: Krasnodarskaya Letnyaya, Kubanskaya Sochnaya, Lyuberskaya, Shikhan (NCZRIHV breeding), Abbe Fetel, Osnovyanskaya, Verbena (introduced varieties). It was also determined pear varieties, resistant to scab: Verbena, Williams Stavropol'skii, Kubanskaya Sochnaya, Koketka, Osnovyanskaya, Shikhan.
