CORRELATIONS BETWEEN AGROCHEMICAL PROPERTIES AND PRODUCTIVITY OF SPRING WHEAT UNDER CONDITIONS OF THE MIDDLE BELT OF THE FOREST-STEPPE

Summary. The work was carried out to reveal the directions and rates of changes of the key agrochemical indicators and level of soil fertility under the influence of economic activity, as well as to determine parameters of correlation between agrochemical factors (the content of mobile forms of phosphorus and potassium) and productivity of spring wheat under conditions of the forest-steppe zone of the Republic of Tatarstan. The investigation was carried out in Muslyumovo municipal district, located in the middle part of the forest-steppe zone of the southeast Trans-Kama region within the Pre-Urals province. Nine cycles of complete agrochemical survey of arable lands were carried out on the territory of the region in 1964-2015. During the years of the investigation, the positive dynamics of the content of available forms of phosphorus and potassium in the soil was determined, the weighted average content of them increased, correspondingly, from 90 to 165 mg/kg and from 120 to 169 mg/kg. If such changes for phosphorus were mainly caused by the results of anthropogenic activity for an increase in soil fertility (during the investigation period it was applied 2861.7 kg (a.s.) of mineral and 146.3 t of organic fertilizers per 1 ha), the balance of potassium in the agriculture of the region was negative, and the growth of its average weighted content can be caused by natural processes. The growth of provision with available forms of phosphorus and potassium stimulated the increase in the yield of spring wheat. Correlation coefficients between the content of mobile forms of phosphorus and potassium with the productivity of spring wheat are equal 0.40 and 0.26, respectively, and they are statistically reliable with the significance layers 0.05 and 0.10. With the elimination of the influence of changing in the time weather factor by the use of sliding average productivity of spring wheat with the length of the step of 11 and 22 years, correlation coefficients increased up to 0.70-0.92 and 0.49-0.62, correspondingly. The closer connection of the crop productivity with the provision with available phosphorus indicates that this element is in the larger deficit than potassium.
