Summary. For the last 10 years, the area under oil flax in the Russian Federation increased 20 times that is caused by food, preventive and medical value of its seeds, and also the high fitness of the culture to various soil and climatic conditions. Innovative methods of oil flax cultivation, directed to the satisfaction of plants in macro- and micronutrients, protection of plants against stressful factors of an environment and harmful objects (pests, diseases, weeds), uniformity of maturing of seeds are considered. The high efficiency of the use of new complex boron-containing fertilizer N31P51K31B2.2 (4,100 rub./ha) is experimentally proved. The growing of white mustard as a green manure culture allows not only to compensate the requirement of flax plants for nutrients but also to lower contamination of soil and accumulation of heavy metals in seeds that is important for the production of ecologically safe products. With the cultivation of flax as monoculture on sod-podzol soil, the application of the Sternefag preparation just after flax pulling ensured the increase in cellulose-decomposing activity of soil microorganisms 2 times in comparison with the control. Ecologically safe preparations for processing of seeds and crops of oil flax, such as Artafit, Vitaplan, etc., possess not only antistress and growth-stimulating but also fungicidal effect and bactericidal properties. Application of the Artafit preparation on crops of various varieties of flax under drought conditions provided the increase in seed productivity 1.5-2.0 times. The application of the innovative methods, presented in the article, enables to obtain high and ensured yields of flax seeds, meeting the requirements of food and pharmaceutical industry.
