INFLUENCE OF PHASE SYSTEMS OF FOLIAR APPLICATION OF APPLE TREES ON THE FORMATION OF PRODUCTIVITY COMPONENTS IN AN INTENSIVE ORCHARD

Summary. Laying of orchards of a new type in the Central Chernozem region requires new approaches to the fertilizer application including wider use of foliar nutrition. It is especially important for optimizing the key stages of the production process. The aim of the research was to examine the efficacy of different systems of foliar application against the background of fertigation and drop irrigation. System 1 included preparations Master (N18P18K18 + Mg3 + microelements); Megafol (growth biostimulant, antistress agent, N4.5K2.9; 28 % amino acids); Boroplus (B 11 %); Kalbit S (Ca 15 %). System 2 included Fitofert (N5P40K10) + carbamide (N46); Bormaks (B 20 %); Manzin (Mn6Zn7); Fitofert calcium organo 25 (powder, CaO 25 %); Fitofert calcium organo 40 (powder, CaO 40 %). The research was carried out in a commercial orchard planted in 2010 in OOO “Agronom-sad”, Lipetsk region, in 2012-2014. The objects of the study were apple trees ‘Imrus’, ‘Lobo’ and ‘Spartan’ grafted on PB-9 rootstock. The soil was leached chernozem. During the experiment it was registered the number of flowers on the trees, the number of fruitlets after the June abscission and number of fruits just before harvest, fruit weight, and yield. Foliar applications increased fruit set up to 4–7 %, average fruit mass of different varieties – up to 6–16 %. The greatest yield increase of Imrus variety was noted by the use of the System 1, of Lobo and Spartan varieties – by the use of System 2. During the planning of the system of foliar application, it should be taken into account that under different conditions of soil provision by nutrition elements different applications are required.
