Summary. Under conditions of the southwest of Bryansk region during the period from 2010 to 2014, we investigated the risk of obtaining milk and forages not corresponding to SanPin 2.3.2.1078-01 and veterinary rules and norms 13.5.13/09-00 for caesium-137 level during the distant period after the accident at the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant. For the analysis, the results of an annual monitoring research of Bryansk interregional veterinary laboratory were used. When managing the farm in the radioactively polluted territories the risk of obtaining milk with the content of caesium-137, exceeding allowable level, increases. For all districts the considerable dispersion of pollution indicators of milk and forages is determined. In public farms the biggest risk of obtaining of low-quality milk, 37.7 %, is revealed in Gordeevsky district, further as danger reduction: in Klintsy, Krasnogorsk, Novozybkovsky, Zlynkovsky districts. The probability of obtaining low-grade milk is higher in personal farms in comparison with public ones with a maximum 46 % in Gordeevsky district; this is connected with low awareness of the population about protective measures. The highest risk of obtaining forage production with the content of caesium-137 exceeding allowable level is also revealed in Gordeevsky district. Green material of herbs and hay were critical forages. In spite of taking measures for the rehabilitation of the radioactively contaminated territories, the situation with maintaining dairy animal husbandry and grassland culture in the southwest of Bryansk region remains tight, especially in the private sector, where from 9 to 46 % of milk do not correspond to requirements for the content of caesium-137. In this regard the dose loading due to the consumption of low-quality products increases to 432 microSv/year at the standard in 1000 microSv/year. It is necessary to rehabilitate the territory not only of the public but also of personal farms.

Keywords: risk, radioactive pollution, caesium-137, production of forage production, milk, dose of internal radiation.
