Abstract. The research was carried out in Belgorod region on the reference sites of local agroecological monitoring. The soil cover of the reference sites is represented by the soils predominant in the region: typical chernozems and leached chernozems. The purpose of the research was to analyze and estimate the of basic microelements accumulation in soybean plants. The total content of microelements was determined according to the common methods, of mobile forms of molybdenum – according to Grigg’s method with the use of oxalate buffer solution with pH of 3.3 for the extraction, of mobile forms of zinc, copper, cobalt, chrome, nickel, cadmium and lead – with the use of acetate-ammonium buffer with pH of 4.8. The concentration of zinc, copper, lead and cadmium in plant produce was determined according to GOST 30692-2000, of arsenic – according to GOST 26930-86, of mercury – according to GOST 26927-86, of cobalt – according to OST 10.155-88, of nickel and chrome – according to the common method, of molybdenum – by colorimetric method. According to the content in beans of soybean, the trace elements under study can be put in a decreasing series: Zn, Cu, Ni, Mo, Pb, Cr, Co, Cd, As, Hg. Beans of soybean, compared with the grain of winter wheat, contain 3.4 times more copper, 3.1 times more molybdenum, and the content of cobalt is 3.3 times less. Soybean is characterized by a very high accumulation of nickel. The content of this element in beans was 5.15 mg/kg, which is 8.2 times higher than in corn grain. The content of zinc, copper, nickel, molybdenum, and chromium in soybean beans was higher than in straw; and the concentrations of lead, cobalt, cadmium, arsenic and mercury in straw were higher than in beans. The content of the most toxic elements (Pb, Cd, As, Hg) in soybean beans did not exceed the regulated permissible levels for food products.

Keywords: zinc, copper, cobalt, molybdenum, chromium, nickel, cadmium, lead, mercury, arsenic, microelements, soybean, soil.
