Abstract. It is presented the results of production tests of probiotic and bio-elemental preparations, carried out in Orenburg region. In 2014 the use of lactoenterol at the dose of 25 g/head per day in bull-calves growing for meat increased the live weight by 15.1 kg (4.5 %) by the end of fattening. During the winter period of 1996-1997, the calves from the experimental group obtained cellobacterin B at the dose of 0.4 g per 1 kg of live weight. These calves surpassed the peers from the control group in the live weight by 11.8 % (p is less than 0.05). The use of lactoamylovorin at the dose of 70 g per 1 t of forage reduced the mortality of geese of the Italian White breed by 25.80 % in 2002. In the experimental group the average output of feather-down raw material at the live picking at the age of 120 days exceeded the value of this index in the control by 7.34 % (p is less than 0.05), the total yield – by 7.09 % (p is less than 0.05), the live weight of one head – by 12.53 % (p is less than 0.05). In the period from 2009 to 2014, the main diet of the experimental groups of poultry included arabinogalactan, Ekostimul-2 or the complex of bio elements (75.0 mg/kg, 1.0 mg/kg and 0.5 ml/kg of live weight per day, respectively). Broiler chickens ‘Smena-7’ and ‘Ross-308’ and laying hens ‘Lohmann Sandy’ and ‘Hisex Brown’ were the objects of the research. The inclusion of Ekostimul-2 in the diet of broiler chickens led to the increase in the average daily weight gain by 8.27 % and poultry safety up to 93 %. The use of arabinogalactan contributed to the increase in live weight of broilers up to 20.42 % (p is less than 0.01) for 42 days of growing and to the rise of egg weight in the case of feeding of laying hens. The addition of the bio-elemental mineral complex raised the egg-laying intensity by 11.5 % (p is less than 0.05). The proposed technologies for the production of livestock products make it possible to realize the genetic potential of farm animals and birds to a greater extent.
