Abstract. The article presents the results of a study of 18 new cultivars of small-fruit crops, bred in I.V. Michurin All-Russian Research Institute of Horticulture (I.V. Michurin Federal Scientific Center). The aim of the research was to evaluate new cultivars of honeysuckle, gooseberry, raspberry, blackcurrant and golden currant for improving the assortment of industrial cultivation. The layouts of plants were 3.0 m x 1.0 m (honeysuckle, gooseberry, blackcurrant), 3.0 m x 0.75 m (raspberry) and 3.5 x 1.2 m (golden currant). Soil type was medium leached chernozem. The studies were performed using standard techniques for variety tests. The studied cultivars have a high resistance to abiotic and biotic environmental factors. Honeysuckle ‘Diana’, ‘Severnoe Sianie’, all cultivars of raspberry have very large fruits; varieties of gooseberry and blackcurrant, honeysuckle ‘Petr Pervy’, golden currant ‘Michurinsky Suvenir’ have large berries. The use of cultivars of the new generation ensures the productivity of at least 6 t/ha, profitability level of 80–267 % and the recoupment in 3–5 years after planting.
