PRODUCTIVITY AND QUALITY OF GOOSE MEAT AT INCLUSION OF AGRIMOS PREBIOTIC IN THE COMPOSITION OF MIXED FODDER

Abstract. The purpose of the research was to study meat productivity of goose-broilers, fed by Agrimos prebiotic at different doses. A scientific and economic experiment was carried out in 2016 at the premises of breeding plant “Makhalov” on 3000 goose-broilers of Italian White breed divided into 3 groups. The birds from the control group received the main diet, the geese from the first experimental group were fed by the mixed fodder containing Agrimos at the dose of 500 g/t; in the second test group the dose of Agrimos was 1000 g/t. The gross and average daily gain of the live mass of goose-broilers in the control was significantly less than of the birds from the I test group by 4.11 %, from the II test group – by 5.85 %. The output of semi-eviscerated carcasses in the control was reliably less than in the test groups by 0.75 and 1.04 %, and the output of eviscerated carcasses – by 1.20 and 1.45 %, respectively. In the mass of edible parts of a carcass geese from the control group yielded to peers from the first group by 7.37 %, from the second group – by 9.56 %, and in the output of muscular tissue – by 10.47 and 12.31 %, respectively. The protein content in the control group was less than in the first and the second test groups by 0.41 and 0.60 %, and feeding power – by 3.03 and 4.15 %, respectively. The inclusion of Agrimos at the dose of 1000 g/t in the composition of mixed fodder promoted the increase in meat productivity of geese, the reduction of the feed consumption per product unit, the growth of income and profitability. The profitability of production of goose meat in the control was 14.12 %, in the first test group – 20.82 %, in the second test group – 22.47 %.
