Abstract. We studied the influence of bulls-producers of Holstein lines on quantitative and qualitative dairy productivity indicators of cows of Kholmogory breed in Zavyalovsky district of the Udmurt Republic in 2014–2016. Six groups of five head of calves each, taken from the moment of birth, taking into account the genotype, age, and live weight, productivity of mothers and mothers of fathers, were formed by the method of pair-analogues. The pedigree on Holstein breed of all animals was 78%. The first and the second groups included daughters of bulls of Yes Ideal 933122 line, the third group – of Montvik Chieftain 95679 line, the fourth and the fifth groups – of Reflection Sovereign 198998 line, the sixth group – of Pubst Governer 882993 line. The correlation coefficient (r) between the highest daily milk-yield and milk-yield for 100 days of cows’ lactation averaged 0.92, and the yield for 305 days – 0.78. According to the first lactation, the size of dairy yield of cows in the V group significantly exceeded the similar parameters of II group by 747.0 kg, group IV – by 827.8 kg and group VI – 698.0 kg; the size of dairy yield in group I, respectively – by 591.6, 672.4 and 542.6 kg. By the second lactation, the difference between the milk yield for 305 days between the V and II group was 538.0 kg, between V and IV group – 570.0 kg; on the third lactation, respectively – 450.7 kg and 560.5 kg. During the 305 days of the first lactation, the milk yield in the V group was significantly higher than the average value (5,074.1 kg) by 474.1 kg or 9.3%; the mass fraction of protein in milk was higher than average one (3.02%) in the I and V groups by 0.03%. We recommend breeders to take into account the genetic factors that influence the milk productivity of Kholmogory cattle in the process of forming a herd.
