Abstract. In order to implement a set of veterinary and sanitary measures adequate to the modern epizootic situation, a corresponding plan is being developed at poultry farms, which is mandatory for implementation. The software “Planning of veterinary measures in poultry farms”, written in VBA programming language, working on a personal computer of any type, contributes to the exact observance of the technology for the implementation of a set of veterinary and sanitary measures, since it involves analysis and processing of significant amounts of information, a large number of heterogeneous factors and processes that form the basis of the veterinary safety of poultry farms. Database management in the Excel spreadsheet processor will allow to accurately follow a structured, strictly defined sequence and order of the timing of veterinary and sanitary measures. A veterinarian who has access to the database that includes the movement of birds and the scheme of planned activities can correct it, but when managing the planning process, it works with it not directly, but through program code, forming queries to the database that performs the specified operations and returns. The results of the program are in three versions: for each batch of birds, in general for the year, regardless of the party, for a month, also regardless of the party. The software for the implementation of the planning process allows you to complete the work of the veterinarian after entering or correcting the necessary data. The subsequent actions of the veterinarian are to work with the interface. Significant reduction of time spent on developing a plan, increasing objectivity contributes to the implementation of planned activities in the most accurate terms, the promptness of making managerial decisions aimed at implementing the epizootic well-being of enterprises.
