Abstract. The aim of the investigation was to determine the influence of mineral fertilizers on productivity and grain quality of spring wheat. Spring wheat ‘Altajskaya 70’ (the standard) and ‘Uyarochka’ (bred in Krasnoyarsk Research Agricultural Institute) was tested under conditions of the Krasnoyarsk forest-steppe in 2014–2016. The soil of the experimental plot was wind-eroded ordinary chernozem. The forecrop was a fallow field after cereals. An experiment design included four fertilizer backgrounds: a control (without fertilizers); N60 (ammonium nitrate), N60P60 (ammonium nitrate + ammophos); N60P60K60 (azophoska). The greatest increase in grain yields for both investigated varieties of spring wheat was obtained by application of the complex fertilizer (azophoska) in the dose of N60P60K60. For Altajskaya 70 variety an increase due to the application of the complex fertilizer was 0.98 t/ha (39.8%) compared to the background of natural fertility, for Uyarochka cultivar it was 1.03 t/ha (44.8%). The use of mineral fertilizers during the cultivation of spring wheat contributed to an increase in protein and gluten content in the fertilized variants. The greatest increase in the gluten content for Altajskaya 70 variety was in the variant with N60P60 (by 4.4%), and for Uyarochka cultivar – in the variant with N60P60K60 (by 5.6%). Nitrogen-phosphorus fertilizers particularly favorably influenced the physical properties of dough: the specific deformation of the dough (flour strength) and the performance of a farinograph for Altajskaya 70 variety; for Uyarochka variety, the highest values of the specific deformation of dough and performance of farinograph were noted against the background of N60. The application of the studied doses of fertilizers did not worsen technological properties of grain.

Keywords: spring wheat; mineral fertilizers; grain quality; productivity.
