Abstract. The aim of the research was to study the resistance of oat samples from the world collection of VIR, the breeding material and regenerants, developed in Krasnoyarsk Research Agricultural Institute to the local Siberian population of Drechslera avenae (Eidam.) Ito et Kuribay, the agent of leaf stripe of oat. The leaves with symptoms of morbid affection were collected in the fields of the Institute in 2016–2017 to isolate the phytopathogen. For the first time in Krasnoyarsk Krai, Siberian isolates of the agent of leaf stripe of oats were obtained: Dr 2.1, Dr 3.2, Dr 3.3, Dr 7.1, Dr 7.3, Dr 7.5. All isolates had macro- and micromorphological features characteristic for the species D. avenae on natural nutrition medium. Colonies are greyish-olive, with large milky-white outgrowths up to 1–2 cm in height (sometimes absent); the substrate mycelium is dark olive-brown, the reverse side is black in the middle, olive-green to the edges to dark-brown or grayish under the outgrowths. The isolates Dr 3.2 and Dr 7.1 release a brick-red pigment into the medium. Determination of the resistance of oat samples to the Siberian population of D. avenae was carried out by a laboratory method. Among 140 genotypes of oat from the VIR collection and the breeding materials of the institute’s subdivisions, 60 samples were susceptible to the causative agent of the disease, and 16 samples were highly susceptible. Forty-one samples were determined as stable (the 2nd type of reaction) and 23 samples – as highly stable (the first type of reaction). So, the best genotypes were varieties Golets, Medved, Valentin, Krepysh, Pegas, Piruet, Arkan, Anak, AC Juniper from the collection of VIR; genotypes L410-09, D-201, D-332 from the competitive variety test of Krasnoyarsk Agricultural Research Institute; 8 regenerants (one from Golets variety, one from Tyumenskiy Golozernyy, two from Tubinskiy, two from Sayan, two from Kazyr) and 3 initial varieties (Golets, Sayan, Tubinskiy).
