Abstract. The article outlines the main activities and practical results of work of I.V. Michurin Federal Scientific Center on policy implementation of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation and the Russian Academy of Sciences in the field of scientific and technological development of horticulture and crop production, improvement of innovative production technologies, storage and processing of high-quality products through the integration of science, education and the real sector of the economy of the agro-industrial complex. It is substantiated the state and prospects for improving interdisciplinary interaction between Federal Scientific Center and major scientific and education centers, industrial enterprises in the area of nursery-keeping, horticulture and agricultural technologies for healthy food production in the development of Russian and international scientific and production cooperation.
