Abstract. The purpose of the research was to assess the effects of presowing seed treatment and foliar nutrition with liquid Izagri fertilizers on the growth processes and yield of spring rape. The study was carried out on Ratnik rape variety in the Republic of Tatarstan in 2015–2017. The soil on the test area was grey forest middle loamy with low humus content (according to Tyurin) – 3.5–3.7%. The provision with mobile phosphorus and potassium (according to Kirsanov) was increased (145–155 mg/kg) and average (108–120 mg/kg), respectively; pH(salt) was 5.8. A design of the two-factor field experiment included the following options: presowing seed treatment (factor A) – without treatment, treatment with Izagri Force (2 L/t); vegetation treatment with Izagri fertilizers (factor B) – without treatment, Izagri Nitrogen (2.0 L/ha), Izagri Phosphorus (2.0 L/ha), Izagri Potassium (2.0 L/ha), Izagri Vita (1.4 L/ha), Izagri Zinc (1.5 L/ha), Izagri Boron (1.5 L/ha), and Izagri Copper (1.5 L/ha). By the end of vegetation, the bulk of the roots (80%) in the case of the treatment with Izagri Force preparation was located at the depth of 35.8 cm, whereas in the case without the use of such a method – at the depth of 25 cm only. The most positive effect on the development of the root system of the spring rape was registered in the case of spraying crops with Isagri Vita. The use of this fertilizer only resulted in the average root length of 41.4 cm, whereas in case of a combination of this fertilizer with presowing treatment with Izagri Force the average root length was 47.8 cm. The highest yield was achieved using the combination of presowing treatment with Izagri Force and spraying vegetating plants with Izagri Vita (1.4 L/ha) and Izagri Phosphorus (2.0 L/ha) fertilizers. Their application resulted in the highest yield of rape oilseeds – 2.37 and 2.30 t/ha respectively, that is 40% and 36% higher than in the non-treatment case.

Keywords: spring rape (Brassica napus L.); root system; leaf area; photosynthetic potential; liquid organomineral Izagri fertilizers; seed treatment; spraying.
