Abstract. Effects of mineral fertilisers on the structure and yield of spring rapeseed crops were studied during the 2017–2018 period under the conditions of Krasnoyarsk Krai forest-steppe. The experimental sites were represented by a fallow land previously planted by grain crops with slightly humus, leached, low-productive black soils. The research design involved such crop varieties as Nadezhny 92, Podarok and Siberian. The experimental sites included those without the use of fertilisers (control) and with the use of N80 (ammonium nitrate), N80P80 (ammonium nitrate and ammophos), N80P80K80 (Azofoska). The studied rapeseed varieties are shown to respond positively to mineral fertilisers, particularly at a dose of N80P80K80. The introduction of the latter resulted in an increase in the number of pods per plant, the mass of seeds from one plant and the mass of 1000 seeds. The number of pods per plant on fertilized soils in the Nadezhny 92, Podarok and Siberian varieties increased by 10.5–17.9, 18.0–20.9 and 20.3–24.8 pieces, respectively. The mass of seeds from one plant against the background of N80P80K80 increased, as compared with the control, in the Nadezhny 92, Podarok and Siberian varieties on average by 1.1–1.7 g, 0.7–1.0 g and 0.7–0.8 g, respectively. The weight of 1000 seeds grew by 1.0–1.2 g, 0.6–0.8 g and 0.2–0.5 g, respectively. The use of mineral fertilizers has ensured a significant increase in the yield of seeds in all the studied spring rapeseed varieties. In 2017, the greatest yield increase, in comparison with the control, was observed in all the varieties from the introduction of N80P80K80 (Nadezhny 92 – 0.44 t/ha, Podarok – 0.70 t/ha and Siberian – 0.47 t/ha). However, in 2018, the Nadezhny 92 and Podarok varieties demonstrated the greatest yield increase under the effect of N80P80K80 (0.59 and 0.64 t/ha, respectively), while the Siberian variety reacted better to the introduction of N80 (0.32 t/ha).
