Abstract. We analyzed the state and dynamics of soil fertility of arable lands in the Tyumen region. The study was conducted in 2016–2020. The work was performed based on annual data from the Tyumenskaya and Ishimskaya agrochemical service stations. We determined indicators such as salt extract acidity according to GOST 26483-85, mobile phosphorus and potassium content according to GOST 26204-91 (by Chirikov’s method), and organic matter content according to GOST 26213-91 (by Tyurin’s method). As of 1st January 2021, acidic soils in the Tyumen region occupied an area of 651,900 ha. In comparison with the previous survey cycle, their share increased by 2.7%. The area of soils with a very low phosphorus content in 2016–2020 increased by 13,300 ha; the area of soils with a low phosphorus content increased by 26,900 ha. In total, they accounted for 42.1% of the total survey area. Soils with a medium content of mobile phosphorus occupied 383,100 ha, or 36.4%. In the Tyumen region prevailed soils with increased, high, and very high availability of mobile potassium – 405,600 ha (38.5%), 296,900 ha (28.2%) and 124,800 ha (11.8%), respectively. Compared to the previous survey cycle, the area of soils with very low and low availability of mobile forms of this element decreased by 700 ha and 17,300 ha, respectively. In general, the region is dominated by soils with a medium and high humus content – 41.7% and 28.8%, respectively. Compared to the previous survey cycle, the share of soils with a very low value of this indicator increased by 0.3%; the share of soils with a low value of this indicator decreased by 0.6%.
