Abstract. The research aimed to study the effect of the pesticide-free protection system of green pea on the species composition of harmful and beneficial insects. The work was carried out in crops of green pea of the Tristan variety at Kuban Canned Food LLC. The population of the pea aphid Acyrtosiphon pisum Harr was counted with an entomological net (50 sweeps of 5–7 repetitions). To account for the species composition and abundance of entomophages (parasites), methods of mass and individual breeding of parasites were used as well as mowing with entomological nets of various modifications and traps of Merike and Malayse. Regular phytosanitary monitoring of green pea made it possible to establish the species composition and population dynamics of harmful and beneficial insects. The mass colonization of crops by pea aphid occurred in the budding phase and reached the abundance peak (285-357 pcs/50 sweeps of the net) in the grain filling phase. To suppress the pest, treatment with Biostop, L. was carried out. In 3 days after treatment, the number of pea aphids was 6.8 pcs/m2, after 7 days – 1.5 pcs/m2, by harvesting for 50 sweeps, 7-9 aphids and 40-50 coccinellids and lacewings of different species. With the use of Malayse traps, parasites of aphids (genera Ephedrus, Lysiphlebus, Praon, Aphidius), cutworms (genera Hyposoter, Sinophorus, Bracon), miners Lepidoptera (genera Baryscapus, Crysocharis, Pnigalio, Sympiesis), miners Diptera (genera Diglypus, Pnigalio, Pediobius, Chrysocharis, Cirrospilus, Microgaster, Halticoptera, Seladerma). Coccinellids, or aphids, were represented by six species. They accounted for 75.7% of the total number of entomophage species. The number of aphidophages by pea harvesting ranged from 20 to 40 pcs. per 1 m2, which on average exceeds 300,000 pcs/ha.
