Evaluation of the responsiveness of meadow fescue (Festuca pratensis Huds.) to the use of bioregulators

Abstract. The research aimed to identify means of protection and growth stimulants that provide the most complete realisation of the seed productivity potential of meadow fescue variety Nadezhda. The experiments were performed in 2019–2021 in the forest-steppe zone of the Sverdlovsk region. Seed treatment (factor A) was carried out with a tank mixture of Fitolavin (2 l/t of seeds) and Stinger Trio (0.5 l/t of seeds). For the treatment of crops (factor B) during the period of stem elongation and the beginning of earing – Fitolavin, 1.5 l / ha; Lariksin, 50 g/ha; Kolosal' Pro, 0.5 l/ha; Strekar, 1.5 l/ha; tank mixture of preparations Fitolavin, 1.5 l/ha and Kolosal' Pro, 0.5 l/ha. Control without treatments. Sowing was wide-row, two-line. The development of leaf diseases on average for all layers of leaves for three years of research in the control was 28-29%, the prevalence was 61-63%. In the variants with fungicides and biological preparations, the values of these indicators were 29-40% and 11-18%, respectively. The biological efficiency of plant protection products use on average for 3 years was 35-62%. The applied preparations provided a significant (0.08-0.20 t/ha) increase in seed yield. In terms of seed collection, the best result against the background without seed treatment was observed with the treatment of crops Kolosal' Pro, the increase to the control was 76.9%. When seeds were treated with a tank mixture, the same variant was distinguished, the increase was 58.07%.
