The use of solutions of physiologically active substances in the production of grafted grape planting material

Abstract. The studies aimed to determine the effect of the duration of preplant treatment of the basal part of the graft with solutions of physiologically active substances (PAS) on the yield of seedlings and the quality of the root system of table grape of the Pamjati Smirnova variety to improve the efficiency of the technology for standard seedlings production. The experiment was carried out in 2020-2021 under the conditions of the Rostov region. The soil was ordinary chernozem. The region belongs to the zone with insufficient moisture. The experiment included the treatment of the basal part of the grafting for 1 and 2 days with modern, unexplored in the practice of grape nursery preparations of various nature. The experimental design provided for the following options: control – water for 1 day; Humate +7 IODINE – within 1 day, at a concentration of 0.05%; Humate +7 IODINE – within 2 days, at a concentration of 0.05%; Cultimar – within 1 day, at a concentration of 0.2%; Cultimar – within 2 days, at a concentration of 0.2%. Pre-planting treatment of the basal part of the grafts with PAS solutions increased the yield of seedlings to 43.4-60.8%, which is 11.7-29.2% more than the control. A positive trend was established to increase the yield of seedlings with a decrease in the duration of treatment from 2 to 1 day from 31.7% in the control to 55.9- 60.8% for the studied preparations. At the same time, an increase in the number of roots was observed, compared with the treatment for 2 days, from 13.2-13.3 pcs. up to 15.7-15.9 pcs. and their diameter from 3.5-3.8 mm to 4.1-4.2 mm. The growth of net profit from the used preparations, in comparison with the control, amounted to 0.71-3.94 million roubles/ha, the profitability of production – 15.1-159.4%.
