Abstract. The studies aimed to analyse in an integrated way the genetic collection of berry crops of the Rosaceae family in terms of the nutrient composition of fruits, to identify the amplitude of the species and varietal variability of the chemical composition. The biological objects were the fruits of introduced varieties of domestic and foreign selection and varieties of selection of the Federal Scientific Centre named after I.V. Michurin: strawberries (68 samples), raspberries (22), blackberries (7). The study of the chemical composition (2017-2021) was carried out in fresh fruits according to generally accepted standard methods. The content of soluble solids (SS) in strawberries was 6.5-16.4% Brix, total sugars – 4.3-12.4%, ascorbic acid – 30.1-107.1 mg/100 g, anthocyanins – 3.6-124.5 mg/100 g, K – 78.6-148.1 mg/100 g, Na – 1.2-3.1 mg/100 g, Mg – 8.7-18.9 mg /100 g, Ca – 18.4-57.4 mg / 100 g, titratable acidity was in the range of 0.50-1.54%. In raspberry fruits, the amplitude of variability of SS content was 9.0-14.2% Brix, total sugars – 5.0-9.3%, ascorbic acid – 10.0-32.1 mg/100 g, anthocyanins – 5.7-73.4 mg/100 g, K – 80.2-99.8 mg/100 g, Na – 1.0-1.6 mg/100 g, Mg – 9.2-11.9 mg/100 g, Ca – 16.7- 22.1 mg/100 g, titratable acidity varied in the range of 1.02-2.22%. For blackberries, the following ranges of variability in the accumulation of chemical components were noted: SS – 10.0-14.2% Brix, total sugars – 6.8-9.8%, titratable acidity – 0.46-1.42%, ascorbic acid – 16.7-29.0 mg/100 g, anthocyanins – 92.0-298.0 mg/100 g; K – 44.2-101.9 mg/100 g, Na – 1.3-1.9 mg/100 g, Mg – 7.5-14.5 mg/100 g, Ca – 15.5-21.6 mg/100 g. Strawberry varieties Privlekatel'naja and Flora, raspberry varieties Octavia and Yarkaya, blackberry variety Loch Tay were selected according to the complex of selectable traits.
Keywords: strawberry (Fragaria × ananassa Duch.); raspberry (Rubus idaeus L.); blackberry (Rubus fruticosus L.); chemical composition; polymorphism; ascorbic acid; anthocyanins; mineral elements.
